In a new leak from Chinese sources, Xiaomi’s 12 Ultra has been revealed to be the first smartphone to feature Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor. It appears that the Coca-Cola-like Leica logo will be lost. Next month, Xiaomi will unveil its most ambitious smartphone yet, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra. Xiaomi has not yet announced a launch date for the flagship.
The Xiaomi 12 Ultra is set to debut in early July, according to Digital Chat Station. According to the leaker, this event will take place during the first nine days of the month. Public opinion is leaning towards the event taking place on July 5 or 7, with Xiaomi reportedly preferring Tuesdays or Thursdays for media events. But, there are no guarantees.
Xiaomi 12 Ultra is expected to launch in China as the first phone to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. A phone from Realme is set to follow the flagship in early July, followed by smartphones from OnePlus, iQOO, and Nubia. It is also expected that Motorola will launch a premium phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 next month.
