A number of OnePlus phones are now receiving a bug fix update, including the OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8T, and OnePlus 9R. It is primarily here to fix problems that were introduced in the security patches for May 2022. Additionally, there are some improvements for general use. There is a new update for the OnePlus 8 series, OnePlus 8T, and OnePlus 9R
OxygenOS C.21 will be the name of the update and will be available for all these smartphones. OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro are included in the OnePlus 8 series, and the changelog for all four devices is the same. This update improved the system’s overall stability. Furthermore, three fixes are included here. A problem with the screen acting abnormally after lockdown appears to have been resolved by OnePlus.
After enabling fast startup, gesture operations had trouble working correctly. Lastly, the camera arrangement is discussed and has to do with that. As part of this update, an issue causing the camera to hang when it is opened in Ultra Steady mode has been fixed. Currently, the update is available in India, but more markets will follow soon.
In India, the update has begun rolling out, but it will also be available in other markets. Stay tuned. In fact, it may have already begun rolling out elsewhere. There are no major changes in this update, but fixes and optimizations are always welcome, that’s for sure. As they were only present in specific scenarios, most of these issues did not affect that many users. It was still better to have fewer errors.
Over the air (OTA) and in stages, this update will be rolled out. For the most part, this update will take some time to roll out. You may need to wait a while to get it. You will receive a notification once it’s available, but you can also check manually in Settings.
