Samsung’s Galaxy M22 will receive the ONE 4.1 update that also provides the April 2022 security patch. The update is obviously not the latest. Nevertheless, this is a low-end smartphone, and we would expect the company to have ended its tests in April. It is also significant to note that this is also the central version of a user interface.
Due to this, some of the features of higher versions of this smartphone are not available. This central compilation, however, has been available since launch, so Samsung is not degrading the device. In September last year, the device was launched.
It was originally released with Android 11 and is now receiving the promised update to Android 12. It’s interesting that the new update comes with IU 4.1 straight from the box as part of last month’s Samsung sweets. With the release of the Galaxy M30, it’s time for the M22 to get a taste of Android 12.
