Samsung says that the device will be ready for a 2nd launch in September, afterward, it says, it made various improvements to the design of the device . Samsung has interpreted the time to fully evaluate the product design, make essential improvements and run strict tests to validate the modifications we made. These design and construction improvements include:
* Samsung Galaxy Fold top protective layer of the Infinity Flex Display has been extended beyond the bezel, creating it apparent that it is an integral component of the display structure and not meant to be removed.
*Galaxy Fold features extra reinforcements to fuller protect the device from external particles while keeping its signature foldable experience:
* The top and bottom of the hinge area have been strengthened with freshly added protection caps.
* Extra metal layers underneath the Infinity Flex Display have been admitted to reinforce the protection of the display.
*Samsung  galaxy  fold palace  between hinge and body of Galaxy Fold has been reduced.
With those modifications, Samsung is confidently putting a September launch period for the Galaxy Fold. It has reportedly confirmed that, contempt the changes, the price will stay the same $1,980 price tag. What Samsung hasn’t yet supported is which select markets it will be first appearance but it hopes to reveal all closer to the launch date.
