Apple will now push separate security improvements between standard software updates for iOS 16 devices, along with finally supporting Face ID in landscape mode on iPhones.
Furthermore, Face ID will work in landscape on iPhone models running iOS 16. At the moment, users must hold their iPhone in portrait orientation to unlock it with Face ID.
The company has also released other security updates, including Safety Check, a feature that allows victims to cut ties with abusers. In addition to disabling messaging on secondary devices, users can also turn off location tracking.
