Two Blade series smartphones have been announced by ZTE in Malaysia: the Blade A72 and Blade A52. Unisoc chipsets, 13MP primary cameras, and large batteries are found on both phones.

With a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD display and a 90Hz refresh rate, the Blade A72 offers a better viewing experience, while the Blade A52 offers a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with a 60Hz refresh rate. Within the waterdrop notch of both phones are cameras for 5MP selfies. Both devices share a 13MP main camera on the back, along with two 2MP auxiliary cameras.

The Blade A72 and A52 both share the same Unisoc SC9863A chipset, although the Blade A72 has 3GB of RAM and the A52 only has 2GB. Both units come with 64GB of built-in storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card. The phone runs Android 11 OS on top of ZTE’s MiFovor 11. The Blade A72 is equipped with a 6,000 mAh battery, while the Blade A52 has a 5,000 mAh cell.

The ZTE Blade A72 is available in Space Gray and Sky Blue colors and retails for MYR 499 ($114). The Blade A52 is available in Silk Gold and Space Gray for MYR 399 ($91).
