Honor has announced the HONOR 70 5G, HONOR 70 Pro, and HONOR 70 Pro+ smartphone

A new line of smartphones from Honor’s HONOR 70 series has been officially announced. The list includes the vanilla HONOR 70 5G, the HONOR 70 Pro, and the HONOR 70 Pro+.

From June 7, 10, and 17, respectively, all of these cell phones are available for order in China.

The HONOR 70 Pro is powered by an Octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8000 processor and a Mali-G610 6-core GPU. HONOR 70 Pro+ is equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor and a 10-core Mali-G710 GPU.

With a 6.78-inch HDR10 curved OLED screen, the Honor 70 Pro/HONOR 70 Pro+ has a resolution of 2652 x 1200 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colors, 100% DCI-P3 colors, and a maximum brightness of 1000 nits.

Their dimensions are 163.9 x 74.6 x 8.18 mm and their weight is 192 grams. A fingerprint sensor is built into the display. Each Nano-SIM slot supports both 5G SA/NSA and dual 4G VoLTE.

HONOR 70 Pro/HONOR 70 Pro Plus comes with a choice of 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage. Both are equipped with a 50MP camera with an aperture of F/2.4. The back has three cameras with LED lights. A 54 MP (main sensor, 1/2.49-inch IMX800, F/1.9, OIS) and a 50 MP (ultra-wide with macro mode, F/2.2) camera are included. An 8 MP (OIS with digital zoom up to 30x, 3x optical zoom, F/2.4) camera is also included.

The 70 Pro/Pro+ has a 4500mAh battery and is capable of fast charging at 100W. They run on Magic UI 6.1, which is based on Android 12. They have stereo speakers and premium audio. They have the same connectivity options as Vanilla HONOR 70.

Non-pro models feature a 6.67-inch curved OLED screen and a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels with a 20:9 aspect ratio. It supports HDR10, 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colors, 100 percent DCI-P3 colors, and offers brightness up to 1,000 nits.

The smartphone weighs 178 grams and measures 161.4 x 73.3 x 7.9 mm. For extra security, the phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor. Both 4G VoLTE and 5G SA/NSA are supported by the dual Nano-SIM slots. Magic UI 6.1 and Android 12 are pre-installed.

HONOR 70 features an octa-core Snapdragon 778G+ mobile platform with Adreno 642L graphics. It has 8GB/12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. 512 GB of storage space is available in the high-end model with 12 GB of RAM.

There is also a 32MP front camera with an F/2.4 aperture. The back of the device contains a 54 MP camera (main, 1.49-inch IMX800 sensor, F/1.9) and a 50 MP and 2 MP camera (ultra-wide and macro). In addition, the camera has a depth sensor (F/2.4) as well as a LED flash.

HONOR 70 comes with a 4800mAh battery and 66W SuperCharge fast charging capability. It comes with a stereo speaker with Type-C audio support. Additionally, Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth V5.2, USB Type-C, and GPS/GLONASS/Beidou are available.
