Samsung has released a new software update for the Samsung Galaxy A72, its most premium mid-range phone from last year. Several Asian countries and most European countries have started receiving the May 2022 security update.

Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Portugal, Romania, Southeast Europe, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, the Baltic region, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, the Philippines, and Vietnam offer the new software. . .
In any of the countries listed above, Galaxy A72 updated users can download and install the latest software update by going to Settings » Software update and selecting Download and install. The update will be released in other countries very soon.
Samsung launched the Galaxy A72 with One UI 3 and Android 11 out of the box early last year. Earlier this year, the smartphone received the One UI 4.0 update based on Android 12 and the One UI 4.1 update a few weeks ago. Two more Android OS updates are planned.
