Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has been updated with firmware version N981USQS2FVE6. Sprint and T-Mobile are currently offering the update in the US.
Additional carriers are expected to release the update soon. There are dozens of security and privacy issues addressed in the May 2022 security patch.
Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 20 with Android 10 out of the box in the second half of 2020.
The One UI 3 update based on Android 11 was released in early 2021, and the One UI 4.0 update based on Android 12 was released a few months ago.
In the US, Galaxy Note 20 series users with a carrier-locked model can now download and install the new software update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also manually update the firmware file by downloading it from our database.
