With a 50MP + 12MP + 12MP triple-lens setup on the back, the Galaxy Z Fold4 will offer ultra-wide and telephoto zoom capabilities. Samsung’s 12MP 3x zoom camera will be the “strongest 3x camera ever,” according to the leaks.
In other words, it will beat the 10MP 3x zoom found on the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, though keep in mind that the S22 Ultra has a 10x zoom camera as well.
It has been reported that the Galaxy Z Fold4 would come with the same 10MP 3x zoom camera found on the S22 series, which would make sense given Samsung’s manufacturing processes.
Additionally, it was speculated that the next foldable would feature a 108MP main camera, another of the cameras currently found inside the Ultra edition of the Galaxy S22.
According to recent rumors, the Galaxy Z Fold4 will be thinner and lighter than its predecessor, making it easier to slip into a pocket. Samsung may be hoping to sell a lot more copies of 2022 foldable than the 2021 variations as well, according to another rumor.
Although the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 is expected to support the S Pen stylus, it is unlikely to include a built-in slot to accommodate it (as is the Galaxy Z Fold 3). Furthermore, the cover screen will be slightly smaller than its predecessor, at 6.19 inches.
One leak suggests the Galaxy Z Fold 4’s battery capacity will match that of the phone it will replace, i.e. 4400mAh, and there have been predictions that Samsung could lower the price of its folding phone. We will know for sure in a few months.
